| Hey everyone! Inside Out Soul Fest was awesome! We had a blast hanging out with everyone. Between all of the bands and the stage crew and other volunteers Word Of Mouth Records had 45 people at the festival. Everyone did an awesome job. Special thanks to our Street Team leader Lisa Tragedy and Jeff from Vinyl Tragedy. Anyone who has pictures let me know we could use them on the website etc. Thursday was Word Of Mouth Night at the Mercy Street Stage. All of the WOM bands played and that place got seriously ROCKED! Friday was a busy day. We got a last minute opportunity to play on the Inside Out Stage in the afternoon and then we played again that night on the Soul Revolution Stage. The crowd that night was so completely out of hand, we had a BLAST! Sunday we played an acoustic set at the Word Of Mouth Tent. Here is a picture. Thanks to everyone who turned out to see Jaded Thorns, especially those of you who came to every show. You have no idea how much you mean to us. You are the reason why we love to do this. We love you guys! | | |
| We are getting ready for Inside Out Soul Fest. Today Brian and I put a new water pump on the Jaded Thorns van. Hopefully we know what we are doing an the van will make it to New Hampshire! We are looking forward to seeing lots of old friends and meeting plenty of new one's. All of the WOM bands will be there. It's going to be a rockin' good time! See y'all there! | | |
| Hey everyone! We just got back from our show at Showplace Theater in Buffalo, NY. The place definately ROCKED! It was great to play so near to home for a change. It was a battle of the bands and we took second place! Thanks to all y'all that came out to rock with us. We had a blast! We just got some pictures back from Pro Life Music Fest. What an awesome time we had there. Everyone was so cool! Especially the Stifflers who let us stay in their home. Actually, Tim Stiffler took these pictures and a whole lot more that you will be seeing soon. We are scheduling some new concert dates so keep checking the Jaded Thorns website http://www.jadedthorns.com for info on a show in your area. If we aren't playing in your area let us know where we can book a show and we will set it up! Rock On!

| The mini tour last week was awesome! We did five gigs in five days and had a blast! The fun started in Virginia Beach where we played with The Dig Project. That day we all went to the beach. We had a great time swimming in the ocean and walking around. Jay and The Dog Project's drummer Brian got thier ears pierced at some place by the beach. I think that they are still in pain! That night we played at Trinity Christian Fellowship and the place ROCKED!! What an awesome group of people! After that we made our way down to Goose Creek South Carolina a suburb of Charleston. The people there were awesome as well. The Rocking continued! Then it was off to Atlanta, GA for Word Of Mouth Records night at Atlanta Fest. Wow! It was over 100 degrees that day and had to be at least 90 at 12:30am when we hit the stage, but the crowd at Atlanta Fest was ready to rock! Mending Point was up first, then Jaded Thorns followed by Poor Man's Riches and The Dig Project. What an awesome night of bands! The next day found us at Rocketown in Nashville, TN. Josh from Rocketown hooked us up with an opening spot right before Disciple. Unfortunately they had an early sound check at Atlanta Fest the next day and had to play earlier in the night, so they switched with Poor Man's Riches and we rocked the place anyway! Saturday we continued on to Versailles, KY just outside of Lexington for Rock The Ages Fest. Tremendous festival. It was only thier second year, but what an awesome lineup; Jaded Thorns, Mourning September, Cool Hand Luke, Staple, Poor Man's Riches, The Elms and more! The big suprise for me was The Elms! These guys rocked it hard! I had never heard thier music before but what an excellent show! Sort of a retro seventies/ Brit rock sound with just a tiny hint of MoTown in the vocal delivery, very cool. Anyway, we are on the road again tomorrow for Warsaw, IN to play Pro Life Music Fest. There are five Word Of Mouth Bands playing there. If you are in the area, or in the mood for a road trip I would highly reccomend this one! http://www.plmf.org | | |
| dave stared his own xanga, under the psuedonym jaded_dave (check it out if you like, in fact I recommend it because he has some cool pics up there from last Saturday's show) and we've been working for about an hour to get the links to show up right. xanga is not our friend right now, she is angering us!! :) | | |
